Jeannette rose at dawn, full of determination to enjoy her morning in the park. She had been eagerly awaiting this day to take a stroll in her new rubber boots and relish the fresh air after many rainy days.

Putting on her boots, she joyfully stepped towards the door, taking an umbrella just in case the sky decided to joke again. However, when Jeannette stepped out of the house, her joy quickly turned into surprise and disappointment.

Upon reaching the threshold, Jeannette felt a strange resistance. Her boots seemed stuck in place, as if glued to the floor. She attempted to free them, but to no avail. It seemed as though the glue she had used for repairs the previous evening had suddenly acquired an insurmountable strength.

Feeling embarrassed and somewhat puzzled, Jeannette realized she would have to go to the park without her new boots. Nevertheless, she decided not to cancel her plans. Taking the umbrella in hand, she stepped out onto the street.
