Deputy Sheriff Claire Irons is dispatched to a location for a report of robbery. As she arrived to see the door open, she saw a man inside on the couch. Thinking he was the victim she entered completely unaware that he was actually the robber who foolishly stopped to count his dough before making his get-away. He was startled by her appearance at the scene, but was very relieved when she mistook him for the victim by asking him if he wanted her to take a report. As she turned her back to him he grabbed her from behind. She was surprised, to say the least, and he was able to bind her with her own cuffs, and gag her with a rag that was handy. She struggled to no avail as he left the room. He soon returned with rope and tied her more securely. He gathered up his loot and left her to struggle on the floor.

 

She managed to free herself, found her radio and put out a broadcast “Send back up to my location”.
