Following a quick scan of his driver’s license, it was confirmed and the suspect was on parole. While in custody, the suspect denied any theft, leading to a routine search to look for additional stolen items. An understanding was reached by the suspect and the Loss Prevention Officer, and he was released without involvement of law enforcement. $10.00 retail value recovered to the lab without incident.
