Expanding on the idea to clarify the intent and motivation behind our movements, we will go over a basic phrase and see how timing can drastically change the feel of the same motions. We will start with a simple phrase of movements and take 8 counts per move; once we get the set down, we will begin to speed up the phrase. Especially for beginners, it is encouraged to note how a change in timing can transform how the phrase feels. (NYV0042)
