Your conscious mind is empty in this state, no longer actively thinking as it does during the day and not yet dreaming. I will lull you into a similar state now where I can easily draw out your subconscious thoughts and desires. There may even be a few that bubble up that you never knew were there. You will not judge them, you will simply observe them.

Once you do this, bring your focus back to me. Did you even notice how I expertly guided your mind to this place? You're starting to realize the control I have over you. I control your mind, I guide your thoughts. That's when you begin to wonder if these subconscious desires are your own, or if I implanted them there. You're not quite sure, all you know is it feels so good to sink down deep into this mesmerizing space I created in your mind.
