Jillian has been brought in to consult on a project. To help break the ice, the two chat over a cup of fresh imported coffee as they set off to work. Once work's finished, the conversation starts to turn personal, delving into Jillian's relationship status. He tells her that he knows she's unhappy in the relationship and that she should leave her boyfriend. Awkward and unpleasant, Jillian covers her discomfort by sipping deeply from her fancy coffee. It's delicious. He invites her to come back tomorrow to decompress from her breakup. Having finished her cup, Jillian agrees and heads out.

The next day, Jillian returns for another round of coffee at the office. She does feel better after breaking up with her boyfriend, just like he said. In fact, the more coffee breaks they have, the more she seems to agree with everything he tells her to do and feel.
