Valentina Bellucci finds herself in the unfortunately position of witness to one of the greatest crimes of the decade. A major government agency has been found in breach of some very basic policies, one man in particular, and she knows all the gritty details. Naturally she's hesitant to give up the story, even to an established unbiased newspaper.

Tilly McReese is a journalist with said newspaper. True, she thinks about her potential career growth in every story she writes, and her wallet, too. But she also hungers to set the record straight on scandals. She's heard the whispers. She gather that the public realizes the fucked up, but only one person knows exactly what happened. Only the intern who personally sat in on meetings, took notes (and some mental notes too, off the record) can spills the beans.

Valentina sits hesitantly on her couch, eager to do the right thing but at this moment sure of what the right thing even is.
