Alana and I enter the ring with our robes on and go to our corners, shadowboxing and bouncing a bit, before being dropped and having our white mouthguards inserted. We touch gloves and come out at the opening bell. Fight begins. There’s not too much action in the first round, as we’re feeling the other out with some light jabs. But, just before the bell rings, ending the round, I'm tagged with a cross that leaves me temporarily stunned.
At the start of round 2, Alana knows I'm hurt and begins going after me, attacking with body shots and pushing me back to the “ropes”. I clinch with her tight, but after we break, she presses her attack again, this time tagging me, sending me to the floor. I slowly rise and beat the count at 8, but I'm seriously in trouble. My survival instincts kick in as I clinch Alana again, somehow surviving round 2.
In round 3, Alana wants to finish me off. Both of us are trading blows, but I'm being more cautious than she is. She begins to smile at me and taunt me by sticking her head out. Big mistake! An epic uppercut followed by a devastating hook sends her flying to the floor.
