Ammalia lavora come commessa in un negozio di vestiti. E' tenuta ad indossare ogni giorno tacchi vertiginosi, davvero scomodi, ma quest'oggi si è scordata di portarli così quando arriva in negozio indossando il solito paio di scarpe da ginnastica, realizza di aver lasciato i tacchi a casa. Chiede in prestito un paio da una collega, ma sono maledettamente stretti. Li infila ed inizia a servire i primi clienti. E' domenica e il negozio è sovraffollato, è continuamente richiesta e con quelle scarpe soffre tantissimo. Appena può, da dietro il bancone, si sfila i tacchi per trovare un po' di sollievo massaggiandosi le piante. Il pomeriggio sembra infinito e Ammalia sfrutta ogni momento di pace per togliersi quelle fastidiosissime scarpe, poter stare scalza almeno qualche attimo e massaggiarsi i piedini senza essere vista, mentre ripete a bassa voce quanto le procuri fastidio questa situazione. Finalmente il suo turno è finito, così può trovare un po' di pace sedendosi in poltrona. Si sfila le scarpe e allunga i piedi di fronte a sè, prima di iniziare un lungo massaggio.

Ammalia works as a shop assistant in a clothes shop. She has to wear vertiginous heels every day, really uncomfortable, but today she forgot to bring them so when she arrives at the store wearing the usual pair of sneakers, she realizes to have left the heels at home. She borrowed a pair from a colleague, but they are so damn tight. She puts them on and starts serving the first customers. It's Sunday and the shop is overcrowded, she has continuously requests and with those shoes she is suffering a lot. As soon as she can, from behind the counter, she takes off those heels to find some relief by massaging her soles. The afternoon seems endless and Ammalia takes advantage of every moment of peace to take off those annoying shoes, being able to barefoot at least a few moments and massaging their feet without being seen, while repeating in a low voice how troublesome this situation is. Finally her shift is finished, so she can find some peace sitting down in an armchair. She takes off her shoes and stretch her, then she starts a long massage to relieve her sore feet.
