Holds are only used to control and wear down the other wrestler. The ladies lock up and Nicole gets Alexis down and goes for an English press pin with a breast smother, but Alexis kicks out. Nicole keeps the pressure on goes for a grapevine pounding pin but she can’t keep Alexis down. Then Alexis finally gets on top with a matchbook pin and Nicole gets pinned. The match continued and there was a clear winner in a close contest but some something real shady happens at the end and the ref lets it happen. Other holds featured in this match were headscissors, bodyscissors, and chokeholds.
