Resuscitation Practice In Life Jackets
Continuing our CPR training Leila and I now practice the correct mouth to mouth procedure without the chest compressions. We are in our swimwear with life jackets on this time and are on the beach.
Leila proceeds to demonstrate the correct procedure. Once lying on the sand she undoes my life jacket then tilting my head she pinches my nose and ensures an air tight seal around my mouth with her mouth in order to give me the life saving breaths. She then demonstrates how to do the procedure if an air tight seal around the mouth is not possible by blowing air through my nose. Around half way through the video we swap and I carry out exactly the same procedures on her.
