rachel is a news reporter who is doing a story on the prison intake process. she meets with the officer in charge, and he begins to walk her through the process. they first begin by putting her in cuffs before patting her down to check for weapons or anything she should not have. rachel is put in fron of the height chart for mugshots and then fingerprinted so that she can be entered into the system. she is then let to wait for the next step, so she walks back and forth in handcuffs and ankle shackles. she then in uncuffed to do her strip search. she removes her clothing for a more thorough search. she is then put into a prison jumpsuit before being cuffed in high security transport cuffs. he leads her to the transport van to be driven to the prison. once there, she is led in to pace her cell. she waits for him to return to tell her the next steps, anxiously walking back and forth. he then come to retrieve her and take her back to the police station. she is uncuffed and allowed to get dressed. she is excited to write and print her experience for the newspaper on the prison system
