The Bratty Empress of Ancient Rome

In Times long gone, An Empress life consisted of:

* Defending her Properties from Foreign Armies

* Having a good Infrastructure

* Having and Enjoying Lavish Feasts

* Etc. Etc.

Being able to do this an Empress needed absolute Controle over her people.

And the one Known as "The Bratty Empress of Rome" Had the longest running Empire ever in Roman History.

A.k.a. The Dragon Lady, The Empress was famous for her Temper.

Legend tell of a man who ignored her advances.

And another time a handmaiden rested with one of the Empress's many lovers. It's been told she was send to the other end of the Empire, never to be heard from again.

The paradox of the Ancient Rulers is that they must create the illusion of mass support while turning the population into a nation of terrorised prisoners endlessly condemned to faking enthusiasm for their oppressor. But in the case of "The bratty Empress" the people actually loved and worshipped her. Which is very rare for a Leader who rules with Iron Fist.
