Your tomboy friend has pretty much always been considered one of the guys. She's always been in for any of the things you and the rest of your friends have wanted to do. Whether it was stupid pranks, skateboarding, or anything else. Which is also the reason that you never confessed to her, believing that she didn't see herself as a girl either.

One day, you and your friends are joking around about what kind of girls you would want to be with. Your tomboy friend makes a few jokes about how she's “right here” to which everyone else laughs it off. Afterwards, everyone goes your separate ways. However, you felt something was off about your friend, and went to ask her if you could stay at her place for the night. Once you're there, you ask her about what was wrong. After some prodding, she tells you.
