Having stolen money from a close friend, Kora Summers has a warrant out for her arrest.

In Part 1 of this story, Kora turns herself in after finding out the police are coming to get her. When an officer shows up at her door, he shoves her into handcuffs, pats her down, and drags her down to the station.

She's made to sit and wait in her jail cell, struggling against her handcuffs, with nowhere to go and nothing to do but stare at the blank walls of her holding cell as her paperwork is processed. Eventually, a stern, scary officer comes to retrieve her and takes her into a secluded room for questioning. But Kora isn't interested in answering any questions, and the police officer is met with tight lips and an even firmer attitude. Instead of wasting more time interrogating her when he clearly won't be getting any answers from her, he fingerprints her and takes her mugshots, with Kora begrudgingly complying to his demands.
