Description

This is an entire workday following Roxie Rae with a foot injury that gets worse throughout her day. Roxie comes hobbling into the shot and shuffles to the desk. She is in work attire with medium heel closed toed shoes and nylons. Roxie sits down and immediately crosses her legs and lets the shoe drop off her sore foot and onto the ground. She calls her boss and tells her that she has just dropped a heavy box on her foot and would like to go home. Her boss tells her that she has too many meetings to attend and she can't leave. She pleads with her boss saying that her foot really hurts and she doesn't want to have to put her shoe back on. Unfortunately the boss still says no. Roxie knows that she wont make it through the day so she calls her roommate and asks her to bring her a bedroom slipper to wear on her foot. Only 1 slipper for her sore foot, she continues to wear her regular shoe on her good foot throughout the entire video. Roxie tells the roommate to leave it at the front desk and they will make sure to bring it to her office. Roxie carefully puts her shoe back on and staggers out of the office for her first meeting. The next scene begins with a shot of the desk again but this time there is the slipper on the desk. Roxie comes hobbling into the office again but this time she is carrying the shoe from her sore foot. Roxie is relieved to see the slipper and puts her shoe in her purse. Roxie puts the slipper on and walks around the office to determine if that will work. After a minute or so she is still concerned if she will make it. The blonde sits back down, crosses her legs and lets the slipper fall off her foot to the floor. After a couple of minutes of work she brings her hurt foot up to her lap where she holds her foot with both hands and says "ow, my foot hurts so bad!" She makes another phone call, this time she asks another friend to borrow some crutches. After she hangs up she puts the slipper back on and hobbles out for the next meeting. Roxie comes back to her desk after her meeting but this time the crutches are leaning against the wall. Roxie comes hopping into the room, carrying the slipper in her hand, no longer able to walk on her foot or wear anything on it. Roxie is thrilled to see the crutches, so she puts the slipper in her purse and immediately begins to use the crutches. Roxie crutches around the office for a minute, with her hurt foot bare except for the nylon and barely ever touching the ground. Roxie grabs another chair so that she can prop her foot up in the chair. she sits down at the desk and puts her foot in the other chair. She has one more meeting left and then she has to go to the doctor so she calls the doctor to make an appointment after her meeting. After her call she works for a few minutes at the desk before getting up and crutching out the door for her last meeting and then appointment. Roxie can't wear a shoe or slipper on her hurt foot so she crutches out with her foot bare except for the nylon and never touching the ground.
