Mo is at the basketball court shooting some hoops. She jumps up to catch the ball as it bounces back at her and her left ankle rolls out from under her. She removes her sneaker and rolls down her sock, fully exposing her ankle. She bends and flexes her swelling ankle and decides she needs to make it back to her car. She pulls up her thin white sock and softly pulls on her sneaker again. She slowly stands up, trying to keep her weight off her ankle. She takes a few painful steps and her ankle rolls out from under her again. She removes her sneaker again and fully removes her little sock, her sore swelling size 7.5 foot finally able to breathe. She slowly moves her foot, trying to work out the pain, now certain she's sprained her ankle. She lightly rubs her ankle, stretches out her foot and knows she must make her way home. Since it's her left ankle that she's sprained, she hopes she'll be able to drive home so she can ice her ankle and prop it up. She pulls on her tiny thin white sock again and slides her foot into her sneaker. She slowly stands up again and to her car.
