Description

1 - Calista has just woken up to have breakfast before going to work, in freezing weather. She is very sick and sneezes a lot because her boyfriend's step-daughter has infected her. Does she have the Coronavirus? No, probably not, because she still the taste. On the other hand, she sneezes constantly. She sniffles a lot and has big sneezing attacks in her kitchen when she is making breakfast. She is cold, has a very red nose and feels really bad. This is the first part of a short film. She talks a lot (long monologue)

 

2 & 3 - Calista is very ill and has frequent sneezing attacks. After having a good breakfast at her home, she goes to work in the forest, by a river. His job is to clean the edges of rivers whatever the weather in Barbières (Drôme departement)... and it turns out that this day, there was mud everywhere ...! What cursed mud! For her work, she has long boots and a neon yellow jacket. She must remove visible and even invisible waste, even if it means having to dig a little with her gloved hands. She is tired, sick... and takes her break at some point. She takes her break a few minutes before the end of her working day because she is very tired and unfortunately another sneezing attack is coming... She has no tissues so she has snot running from her nose and she make squirt it in the damn mud. Being environmentalist doesn't always have than of good sides...!!

 

3 - Calista comes home from her job (collecting garbage on the banks of a mountain river). She was already very ill before working. But, the fact spending a whole day in the mud and dampness, it made her even more sick. She returns home the evening. She makes herself comfortable by changing clothes. She sneezes several times and blows her nose a lot. She has a very cold and she has headache. She is resting a little on her sofa and she ends up making a very hot and relaxing herbal tea. Poor Calista..
