In this session we attempted to perform a true POV (victim's Point-Of-View) Foot Roasting video. Even though in the past we did a POV foot roasting video, it is important to remark that such video was a "Fake POV" because Victoria was actually blindfolded, so she couldn't see anything in reality, and the POV camera was only fixed in a position at a similar height of Victoria's sight. In contrast, in this video, our victim only wears a mask, so she is actually seeing everything, and the action camera is mounted directly on her and moves along her sight.

For our test victim, we present one-timer Marcia; this will be her only participation with us, since foot proved to be to much for her after this first experience.

Unfortunately POV foot roasting represent some challenges not present in POV Bastinado or POV fire . In Foot Roasting, the electric grills are at a position that naturally obstructs the angle vision from the front mirror, so the victim cannot get a clear look at her soles roasting. I tried to find the best possible position for the front mirror, but somehow it still left me unsatisfied. Plus, Marcia was too nervous and fearful of the whole foot roasting concept, so instead of directing her sight at the mirror and look the redness on her soles increase, she constantly kept looking at myself in an attempt to call for my attention, trying to convince me that the grills were too close to her feet.

In that regard, Marcia is truly unique in the sense that she was petrified during the whole session. Very few times I've seen girls let their fear express that much. You can see that she truly fights the stocks, and even attempts to break or bend them early in the video. On the other hand she has nice and large feet and soles.

First 22 minutes consist in a foot roasting session seen from the standard viewer angle; the POV version is presented from minute 22 and onward. I consider this more sort of a experimental or early attempt at POV foot roasting, but we will try to refine it in future productions.
