Coming off a hard fought victory for the submission title Shelly wants more gold. We set her up to take on Julie Squeeze for the grappling championship. Shelly takes Julie down but Julie gets Shelly in her guard. Shelly can’t escape the guard so she starts slugging Julie’s belly. Shelly mounts Julie and presses her into the mat then locks on a grapevine breast smother combo pin, and gets the pin. In most grappling matches the ladies honor the rules, but not in this one especially Shelly. This match may have been over before it started but Shelly relied on belly punching, elbow strikes, and illegal chokes to get her out of bad situations. It also seemed Julie wasn’t just using her scissorholds to wear down and control, she was cranking up the pressure. She also threw in a rear naked choke and triangle. The only question is which rule breaking tactic was better and gave one wrestler the grappling championship.
