This video is set at a party. I walk in wearing a tight party dress, odd socks and sneakers. I ask if you’re enjoying the party and ask if I can sit down with you. You say yes, so I sit and we start making small talk. I tell you that I know my shoes don’t really go with my outfit, but I just love them. They’re much more comfortable than heels, obviously, but they’re also much easier to play with. And I love playing with my shoes. I tell you and show you how I like to play with my sneakers, dangling them off my foot. I tell you that I like taking one shoe off and pushing it away from me. I even tell you I wouldn’t mind losing a shoe. I talk about all the things I’d have to do one-shoed, like go to the shops, the cinema, the gym. While I talk, I push my shoe further and further away from myself. Eventually I can’t reach it anymore. I stretch and stretch but I can’t reach it. I tell you how exciting it is, being stranded in one shoe. Then I realise I have to leave, so I go to put my shoe back on. "Where did my shoe go?! It's disappeared." I get really excited, telling you how awesome it is that my shoe has disappeared and that I’m stuck with only one shoe. I wonder out loud if you stole it. Eventually I get up and leave, away one-shoed.
