Think back to those hot summer days growing up and running around the pool all day. Pushing friends in the pool, splashing girls and chasing girls. Of course, if you couldn't walk or bike to the pool then you had to get a ride....
"As a wee little man, my neighbors step-mom took several of us to the local park to go swimming. After a couple of hours, his step-mom said it was time to go. His step-mom got in wearing her swim suit with a sheer long sleeve top, black flip flops, and maroon toe nail polish. I had a full body view for the trip home. She turned around and asked if everyone was in. She got situated and cranked the car a couple of times with a few pumps to get it going. She put it in reverse and after a few feet the car She put it back in park and cranked a couple of times with some pedal pumping but this time it did not start. She held the pedal to the floor and cranked until the car fired up. After a couple of light revs and a bewildered look on her face, she put it in reverse. We went a few more feet and the car again. She put it in park again and did the same routine but this time the car did not start. With a puzzled and concerned look on her face, I could hear her mutter "come on now, let's go". She started cranking longer and longer with pumping, pumping and holding, and holding the pedal to the floor getting a little more aggressive each time. As she was cranking, I could here her saying "come on, come on, come on". One time in between cranks I heard her say "Don't stall on me here". The long cranking sessions continued and you could here the battery starting to get slower, and slower, and slower until it She said "come on boys, we have to walk". Turns out the fuel pump went out and we were not going to go anywhere."
